"We wrote these pieces in early 2022, growing out of an exploration of the particular acoustic space held between our instruments' distinct elements. We found a joyful tension between unity and separation that became, in manifold forms, the center of each piece. This collection of music explores ideas of blend, stasis, and overlap, as well as reimagining aspects of virtuosity" - Saviet/Houston Duo

"Saviet and Houston dig deep into small gestures with a generosity and ardor that’s sublime. It’s so great to hear two musicians settle in and truly work out some shit." - Peter Margasak
